Alkinzfra Sheikh Jabbar Helou
Chief of the Sabian Mandaeans in Iraq and the world, esq.
With deep sorrow and sadness we have received the news of the outrageous attacks on the people of Sabian sect, which are mainly intended to stoke the sectarian strife, tear the tent of national unity shading all of us, and drive this Iraqi segment to leave the country, for those attacking miscreants are fully aware of the importance of the Sabian community in our country and its being an essential component and genuine root of the Iraqi people origins, and that it has its own honorable historical status in Iraq illustrated by the living example it embodied of peaceful coexistence with all other communities and components, and for its stand at an equal distance from everyone, as well as its various national stands which still reveal the extent of its loyalty and adherence to its country Iraq in spite of all hard times they have gone through.
At the time we extend in our name and the CINU name, our condolences to Sheikh Alkinzfra Sattar Jabbar Helou, chief of the Sabian Mandaeans sect in Iraq and the world, and to the families affected by the loss of their members and to all people of the community, we hereby declare our full readiness to offer what can be done to help the community protect their people and maintain its legitimate social and political rights, and to provide full moral support at all levels and fields, for our fast belief in common destiny, and that the cohesion and solidarity at a time of woes is the only way to keep all segments of our dear country, and at the top of it the Sabian sect.
We ask God Almighty to comfort your hearts with patience and fortitude, and to keep your community off all evils and aggression, and to bring our hearts together on what is good for our home country, nation and unity, He Who listens and answers the supplication.
Dr. Nahro Mohammad AbdulKarim
