 Dr. Nahro Mohammad Abdulkarim was born in 1969 in Kirkuk. His family then moved to Baghdad in 1985 where he finished his elementary school. He travelled to the UK to study English Language and its sciences. Then he joined Al-Mansour University College to complete studying computer sciences. After that, he was devoted to study history and obtained a PhD degree.
His father is Sheikh Mohammad AbdulKarim Al-Kasnazan Al-Hussainy, leader of the Al-Alia Al-Qaderia Al-Kasnazania way in the world. This is a widely spread Sufism way with lots of followers in all the world .
At an early age of his life, Dr. Nahro was concerned about his country’s worries and the affairs of its people. This was later topped by forming a coalition which was keen to include amongst its people pioneer and educated cadres of all levels, sects and nationalisms. This caused him to be imprisoned. But this neither stopped him from continuing his national project nor it prevented him from practicing inside Iraq. After being released, he moved to Sulaimania Governorate to continue his strive and announce the name of the Coalition of Iraqi National Unity ( CINU ).
Dr. Nahro was precedent in spotting and diagnosing defects in the bases of forming the new governance system in Iraq. Thus, he frankly and stressfully criticized the principle of preferential treatment and condemned sectarian banding and trading in religious and sectarian mottos and mixing between religion and politics. He rang early bells that this will push the country to the edge of ordeals, fighting and fabricated ditching.
Opposite to all of that, Dr. Nahro proposed his substitute national project which is based on the principles of competency, integrity, and equal opportunities. This project also supports the national individuals known for their ultimate loyalty to Iraq and its oppressed people, exerting their utmost efforts to lift the injustice off the people, working to improve the peoples well-being and living conditions through fighting corruption, create working opportunities, encourage investment, improve services including health, education and security.

Dr. Nahro has issued many publications in the fields of intellect and politics; mainly:

He has many more articles and studies published in a number of local and Arab newspapers and magazines. Currently, he holds the position of “Chairman of the Board of Directors at Sheikh Mohammad Al- Kasanzan University College which has the following Faculties:

Amongst the objectives of this college is to bring back Islam’s moderate, merciful and humanitarian picture and to get rid of all deformities of violence, rigidness and close-minded afflicted on it.

His National Achievements:
Since the beginning of his political activity, Dr. Nahro has been endeavoring to communicate with people in reality. This resulted in the emergence of many humanitarian committees and organizations which provided in-kind and moral aids to the citizens. He also gave due attention to the freedom of speech. That’s why he established an organization that defends the rights of reporters and media-men. He granted many awards for the innovative in the academic and media fields.
As for the humanitarian rights field, Dr. Nahro, in cooperation with the UN – Human Rights organization, with the assistance of international right-defenders he strived to establish an organization that takes care of imprisoned and detained Iraqis who were not convicted and did not have a proper legal defense.
The Iraqi National Unity Association is a project for all Iraqis without discrimination because it works hard towards building a free Iraq with no terrorism or corruption.
