In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
The CINU expresses its regret for the way in which the transitional government was formed and proclaimed on 1/6/2004 A.D, because, and as it turned out to everyone, could not emerge from the trap of sectarian and ethnic allocation, and similar to what happened with the dissolved Governing Council, and this would weaken the unity of Iraq.
We have been hoping for a competent government, as was promoted for, founded on efficiency and integrity, but it is very clear that it is no more than a remake of its predecessor.
And though that CINU rejects any political move not mainly established on national unity foundation, it demands this government to make way for the establishment of the democratic process rules thru proper management to run the elections, address the deteriorating security situation, eliminate unemployment and improve the living conditions.
For our part, we will hold on to our fixed dogmatic attitude in interacting with the course of events in a way serving the unity of our homeland and attaining the interests of our people. God is the source of strength.
