In the light of housing crisis and what the world witness daily of painful scenes for many Iraqi families that have taken to open shelter, and at a time when some are still clinging to a thin thread of hope that the government will meet the promises it has committed to, official parliamentary reports show (that the government has not taken any measure so far to address the housing crisis in spite of the increasing number of population, though the solution thereof would decidedly impact the economic and social situation of the Iraqi individual), and more worse than that, that the small percentage of housing projects that were completed in the governorates some of them were found very poor in specifications and not even compatible with the basic layout, while the control is wanting.
And though that these families or the so-called (passers) either from the displaced or whose homes were damaged by terrorist attacks, or were homeless, and that the government should provide them with suitable accommodation, has instead demolished their (ruins) they live in, yet with the approach of elections time the Council of Ministers announced the formation of a committee to find alternatives and thus promises were triggered by the political forces to look for those alternatives but soon these calls disappeared by the end of elections time, but they will surely reappear with the advent of general elections.
The spokesperson of CINU announces the demand posted by the secretariat of CINU to stop immediately all these outcries that exploit the harsh conditions of this segment of citizens, and take prompt initiative to assume practical actions that would lift them out of this tragic situation in a country abounds in resources and fortunes, so they are the more deserving of and eligible for them.
