The CINU, and thru its conscious and responsible probing is seeking to contribute effectively to the delivery of humanitarian services and aids to needy families of our Iraqi patient people given the difficult socio-economic conditions that many Iraqi families started to experience in the aftermath of August 1991 and subsequent blockade decisions issued from the UN Security Council including the resolution 661, thus causing a severe humanitarian suffering for those families, difficulty in securing their livelihood and facing this extraordinary situation created by the conditions of blockade on the country, the fact that prompted the CINU, with guidance and support from the coalition chief Dr. Nahro Mohammad AbdulKarim Alkasnazan Alhuseini to set about the establishment of Iraqi Relief Association ( Al-Eghatha ) to help those families in coping with such circumstances.
It was asserted by Dr. Nahro Mohammad AbdulKarim, Secretary General of CINU and Iraqi Relief Association, on the need to conduct a thorough survey to all areas in Baghdad, districts and areas in order to be able to provide humanitarian aids for all families in need of sincere and brotherly stance just to assert the cohesive bonds of the one Iraqi family, consequently target places of relief teams were identified and humanitarian in-kind and material aids were provided.
